Palaces of St. Petersburg

From the very foundation of the city royal family and aristocracy lived in St.Petersburg. Summer residences and winter palaces were built for them all over the city and beyond the city limits. French, Dutch and Italian masters created truly unique masterpieces of architecture in barocco and classic styles which reflected the majesty of the Russian Empire in 18-19th century.
